Forestry mulching is a land-clearing method that uses a single machine with a rotating drum to shred brush, small trees and vegetation into mulch on site. It is faster, less invasive and leaves no burn piles or haul-off.
Pricing depends on acreage, density, terrain, access and what you want the final result to look like. After you submit the quote form, we review the details and provide a clear recommendation and estimate.
We can mulch any trunk 8" or less in diameter, grinding it down to roughly an inch below the surface of the ground. Our equipment also handles brush, saplings and smaller trees typical of overgrown Pennsylvania properties. Very large trees or dense mature timber may need a different approach, which we will discuss during review.
Yes, frozen ground often improves access and reduces soil disturbance. We schedule around weather and ground conditions to protect your property.
Usually the mulch stays on site. It acts as a natural ground cover that helps control erosion and slows regrowth. If you need a different finish, tell us in your request.
