Forestry Mulching in Western Pennsylvania
We mulch overgrown ground in place with specialized machinery, turning brush, saplings and small trees into a mulch layer that protects the soil instead of a burn pile you have to deal with later.
What the work looks like
Across Butler, Beaver, Lawrence and northern Allegheny counties, most properties that get away from their owners are covered in the same mix: multiflora rose, autumn olive, honeysuckle and dense sapling regrowth. Forestry mulching handles all of it on site — no hauling, no stump piles, no torn-up topsoil. We can mulch any trunk 8 inches or less in diameter and grind it down to roughly an inch below the surface of the ground, so what you're left with is walkable, mowable, and ready for whatever comes next.
What's included
- Single-pass clearing — vegetation is processed where it stands in machine accessible areas
- Trunks 8" or less ground to roughly 1" below grade
- Mulch stays on site as erosion control and soil cover
- Selective work: keep the mature hardwoods you want
- Slopes of 15 degrees or less

- Any trunk 8 inches or less in diameter. We grind stumps down to roughly an inch below the surface of the ground.
- Do I have to haul anything away?
